Promote kindness in your Chinese learning sessions by using these Acts of Kindness Flashcards in Chinese in your everyday session. You can show one card per day to the class and have the students fulfill that act of kindness. Or you can ask your students to select their own kindness card as an individual challenge. There are 20 kindness cards in this set, each card features a cute illustration and Chinese, pinyin and English descriptions. Some kindness examples include “hold the door for someone” and “give someone a high five”. Another way to encourage kindness in a learning environment is to make it into a fun game like the secret Santa. Assign each student an act of kindness card and a recipient. Your students will then carry out a kindness act in secret. At the end of the week, have your students guess who their secret kindness giver was. If they guessed correctly, they are rewarded with a star or sticker on their Reward Chart. To take it further, help promote random acts of kindness by asking your students to share kind acts they witnessed from others and give bonus rewards. Pair these flashcards with our Acts of Kindness Chart. For more inspirations on how to teach your students kindness, see our Kindness blog post. Include Traditional and Simplified Chinese versions.
